Thankful Post 313

A few months ago my smoke detector reached its expiry date, it would be screaming at me saying it needed to be replaced. So I had been using the smoke detector that came with my security system, not sure that it would have been any good but the batteries died. I got replacement batteries but the thing didn’t like them so I needed a new smoke detector I ordered one. It was the same brand as my old one so I thought I should be able to just mount it on the same bracket, but that didn’t work. I was living on the less then legal side because I don’t have the balance to stand on a ladder and change the bracket, and as such I did not have a smoke detector in my place. I managed to get a friend to come over and help me out with it, today I am thankful that I have friends who help me be a little less of a out law.
