This evening I looked into the foods I have. Knowing I like fermenting things I got curious what I could do, I decided to ferment an apple for thanksgiving. I have fermented an apple before, well sorta.
I decided to make a salt brine instead of a sugar one.
Thinking about it; I think that will only ferment the apples and not make an apple juice. I think I am also going to make a sugar one as well.
*edit: I decided to make two not one apple ferments; one with white sugar, which I have done before and one word brown sugar which I haven’t done before. If I had another apple I would have also done one with cane sugar. Purple lid is salt, white lid is white sugar, green is brown sugar.
