Today I created homemade butter. I just put whipping cream into my mixer and started the blender. I started it at full speed; which I would later find out was wrong, I should have started it out slowly bringing it up to a medium speed. When the whey started to separate it was starting to shot out of the bowl. I saw it was almost done so as I was reaching for the switch a big splash of whey jumped onto my shirt, not good at all. After it has done some cooling in the fridge I am going to try it out.
