I have been making my own vinegar for a while now, COVID has just increased how much I make and the flavours I try. I was thinking I could make a vinaigrette and have some bread before bed; I was curious as to which vinegar I should, while I thought about that I got thinking I should experiment with oil. In the past I had tried flavouring oils but failed miserably so I didn’t try again, that is until now! This time I used coconut oil and olive oil, and steeped three different flavours in separate little containers apple, lemon, and avocado.
I took 100ml of coconut oil and melted that into 50ml of olive oil. I let it cool for a bit then transferred it into three little containers one with Apple chunks, one with lemon peals, and one with avocado chunks then I let them steep for a few minutes. Tomorrow some time I intend on making a vinaigrette for bread dunking.
