I made steeped some soy sauce with mushrooms for a week and today was the day to take them out. I wasn’t sure but thought maybe I should take the mushrooms out and let them rest before putting them into a stir fry. I tried a couple of the mushrooms, they were a little iffy like they tasted good but had a strong vinegary taste to them. The soy sauce smells amazing and licking the little bit that hit me hand transferring to a different container tastes amazing.
