Dilation #1 and #2 of the day were the new normal where only the top half had blood. #3 had no blood and it felt like most of my other dilations. Dilation #4 had a little more blood than #1 and #2 but it just left me wrecked.

I think it comes close to the pain of the second day I dilated when I realized that this is going to be my life for the next few months.

  1. Dilation is one of those things they don’t really explain, if mentioned in the literature it tends to glossed over at best. They don’t discuss the time, dedication and Pain involved. I didn’t know much until I actively started looking. I still don’t think I’ve got a full comprehesion. Maybe thats for the best. It’s the one thing that scares me the most. Thanks for sharing.

    Ps. I wish someone would have told me about the pre-op electrolsis, having someone stick needles Into your dangly Region for a couple of hours each week for 12- 18 months is zero fun.
